Armor of God

Spend time as a church examining Paul’s teaching on the armor of God. It is important to realize that Christians are in a battle – not a physical one – but against “the spiritual forces of evil” as Paul puts it. We must “be strong in the Lord” to “stand against the schemes of the devil…” It is spiritual warfare Paul is talking about. And in order to have the strength of the Lord – to “be strong…in the strength of His might…” that we might “withstand in the evil day” we must “Put on the whole armor of God…” each week of this study we will examine a piece of that armor.
