Hold Fast

On at least 5 different occasions in Hebrews, we are encouraged to “hold fast” either to our confidence or our confession of hope in Christ (3:6, 14; 4:14; 6:18; 10:23). Because of who Jesus is and what He has done – what should we do? Hold fast to Him. This language is used throughout scripture – we must hold onto Jesus till the end – the only thing we do to be saved is trust in, believe in, hold onto Jesus. Hebrews 10 gives us things we can do corporately and individually to hold onto Christ.
