The Alpha& The Omega

Here we examine Revelation 3 depictions of judgement with seven seals, seven trumpets, and seven bowls. The number 7 resembles completeness and fulfillment. These visions given to John were meant to bring comforting perspective and essential counsel to those Christians who were being persecuted in their time. Each account uses different illustrations of 7 to describe the same story with different emphasis and a different message to the 7 churches and to us today. In terms of interpretation, there may be some details we might disagree on but the central message and challenges we must agree on.
